The Candy Lace features a stiff, fiber-reinforced nylon shank for efficient power transfer, paired with a minimalist synthetic upper, vibration-absorbing EVA insole, and a relaxed fit to provide a comfortable, ride-all-day feel.
Our innovative Match System optimizes engagement for Crankbrothers clip-in pedals, while the extended 35mm cleat track retains compatibility with other common clip-in pedals. Cleats are not included with Candy Lace shoes – remember to add a fresh set for your clip-in system of choice!

SUGGESTED CLEAT SHIMS
For Mallet Trail, Candy, and Double Shot pedals, use the included Black 1.0mm plastic shim or our Stainless 0.8mm Shoe Shield.
For Eggbeater or SPD pedals, we recommend installing your cleats without a shim.

PREMIUM MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION
The Candy Lace’s premium synthetic upper is constructed from durable, water-resistant materials, with perforations for enhanced breathability. A traditional lace closure system complete with lace retention loop keeps your foot comfortably secure.
OPTIMIZED PEDAL INTERFACE
A stiff, fiber-reinforced nylon shank transfers power efficiently, while an extended 35mm-length cleat track allows for personalized cleat position. The cleat box depth is carefully chosen to allow for optimal shoe-to-pedal contact.
ADVENTURE-READY OUTSOLE
Full-coverage MC1 rubber outsole and directionally-angled toe and heel lugs offer traction for any terrain. A ramped toe and curved outsole profile allow for a natural stride off the bike. The mid-foot anti-slip zone offers stability while unclipped.
TOE PROTECTION
A TPU-reinforced toe box combined with a raised outsole at the front of the shoe provide critical protection against impacts.
