B 539 LLB MAX – MAX-Type, ABEC-3, Radial Suspension Bearing – 3/4 x 1-3/16 x 1/4 –
Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX-type bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by utilizing a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing, via a custom ground slot in the races. The additional balls, combined with deep race grooves in these bearings provide greater lateral support for the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This ABEC-3 Radial Bottom Bracket Bearing featuring 52100 High-Carbon chromium alloy races paired with grade 10 balls with 90% fill, Almagard high-pressure, water-proof grease.
The most common use for this bearing is as a direct replacement bearing for Profile Racing Euro BBs.
The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deepest groove races possible to accommodate the largest balls possible and feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove creating a full labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements.
